To make the most of your coaching experience, it’s important to come prepared for each session. Our sessions can range from 1 to 2 hours, and to ensure you get the best results, here are some key guidelines:
Quiet, Focused Environment: Please be in a quiet place where you can give your full, undivided attention. Coaching requires focus, and distractions can limit the progress we make together.
Bring Your Tools: Feel free to bring a notebook and pen for note-taking during the session. Writing down key insights can help reinforce what we discuss and allow you to reflect later on.
Complete Your Homework: If I’ve assigned any "dig deeper" exercises or homework before your session, please ensure you’ve completed it. This is an essential part of the coaching process. If you haven’t had the chance to finish, I may ask you to reschedule, or even reconsider whether this coaching arrangement is right for you. The reason is simple: our sessions are not venting sessions where you just share and move on. I am a transformational coach, and my job is to help you dig into the root issues, identify cycles, and break through to results.
We Go Deep: While we schedule specific tasks for each session, we also understand that breakthroughs might take longer. If we need extra time to go deeper, rest assured we’ll finish what’s needed to get you to your next breakthrough.
Be Ready to Work: This is a results-driven process. If you’re not committed to doing the work, this coaching may not be for you. I don’t want to waste your time, and I certainly don’t want to waste mine. The goal here is transformation, and that means we’ll both be putting in the effort to deliver real, lasting change.
Boundaries Are Key: Please limit any interruptions during our sessions. While an occasional family member asking for something quickly is understandable, if it becomes a habit, I will address it. The same goes for phone distractions – keep your phone on mute or Do Not Disturb mode unless there’s a potential family emergency. If that’s the case, simply let me know at the start of the session.
Communication is Everything
Good communication is a cornerstone of successful coaching. If something comes up – whether it’s homework, distractions, or a potential emergency – please communicate it clearly. This process is about holding each other accountable and setting healthy boundaries to ensure we’re both fully present and focused on your transformation.
By setting a high standard for how we engage in these sessions, I’m helping create an environment where you can thrive and get real results.
